Distinctive mechanics, memorable characters, and worlds with room to grow.
IMOM stands for Immortal Octopus Machine: an independent studio creating games with unusual mechanics, worlds with their own history, and software that respects the person using it.

Ideas become something you can hold early, so the good part can be found and sharpened.
Selected projects are prepared for evaluation and platform partnerships.
We combine fast creative exploration with disciplined production. That means unusual ideas get the space they need, while prototypes, documentation, and partner materials stay clear enough to make decisions confidently.
Game creator, art director, and lifelong tinkerer.
I’ve been making games for as long as I can remember. The first was a dice-based tabletop table-tennis game, built when I was about nine—and, as I recall, not half bad. I never really stopped.
Eventually it became the day job too: character art on Wolfenstein: The New Order, then years of visual development and creative leadership at Stockholm studios including Yggdrasil and Fantasma Games, most recently as Head of Art. Next comes the small startup Silverfox Games, where my title—Dragoman and Art Smith—tells you most of what you need to know.
IMOM is where the nine-year-old stays in charge: unusual ideas built out properly, each given a world of its own.
Away from the screen, life is shared with my wife, our almost-two-year-old son, and two cats—each with strong opinions about production schedules.
